I like your animatic Gemma, there is potential to use ambient noise to convey to the viewer the sense of moving between different spaces. The opening frames with the chimneys lends itself to an outdoor recording of some distant heavy machinery, and the spinning wheel could be represented by a close-up recording of the machinery. The sudden switch to an indoor environment could be enhanced by a recording of an indoor space to give the viewer the sense that they are now somewhere different.
